About this fabric

The close-up reveals a dense, even weave rather than a printed motif, with fine pale threads dispersed through the darker taupe ground. Subtle olive-grey undertones give the colour its lichen character, while the flecking keeps the surface from appearing flat. The texture reads as tactile and quietly informal, making the fabric particularly well suited to upholstered furniture. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Curtis Lichen with warm ivory, stone and natural timber for a calm, layered scheme. Its subdued taupe-lichen tone also sits comfortably beside olive, charcoal and aged brass accents.

Use this softly mottled lichen taupe to bring understated texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
