Parker Basil

Parker Fabric

Parker Basil is a deep, muted basil green with a distinctly olive cast. In the swatch image, its close woven texture catches the light softly across the folds, giving the plain surface quiet depth.

About this fabric

The colour sits between moss and olive, with a subdued, earthy quality rather than a bright or yellow green. A fine, pebbled weave is clearly visible across the face, creating tactile grain without a printed motif. The fabric looks dense and substantial as it gathers into broad, softly structured folds, making it particularly suited to upholstery. No performance features are noted for this supplied colourway.

How to use it

Use Parker Basil on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered bench where its grounded olive tone can sit alongside warm timber, natural fibres and softly aged metal. Its restrained texture also works well as a calm counterpoint to patterned cushions.

The deep olive tone and tactile woven surface bring grounded warmth to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
