Phoenix Fabric

Phoenix Frost is a cool silver-grey textile with a finely crosshatched weave that shifts gently between pale frost and deeper graphite as the folds turn. Its softly irregular surface gives the quiet colour visible depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The close-set weave forms a small grid of light and dark threads, with subtle linear variation across the cloth. Deep folds in the photograph show how the cool grey shade can read almost charcoal in shadow, while raised areas catch a soft silvery light. The fabric has a tactile, woven appearance and falls into rounded, fluid folds, making it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width or rub-test data is supplied for this colourway, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Phoenix Frost to add understated texture to a contemporary sofa, occasional chair or relaxed curtain scheme. Its blue-leaning silver-grey tone pairs naturally with chalky whites, pale timber, charcoal accents and other cool neutrals.

The cool silver-grey ground and fine woven grid bring quiet texture to upholstery or softly draped furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
