Phoenix Steel

Phoenix Fabric

Phoenix Steel has a cool steel-grey appearance with a delicate open grid texture visible across the gently folded cloth. Its fluid fall allows the weave to shift between softly lit ridges and deeper charcoal shadows.

About this fabric

The fabric is woven with closely spaced pale and dark threads that create a fine, mesh-like grid rather than a bold printed motif. Its steel-grey tone reads distinctly cool and muted, with the darker threads adding depth without making the surface appear heavy. In the swatch image, the cloth forms fluid folds, and the changing light picks out the raised ridges of the weave. This understated texture makes the colourway feel smart and quietly architectural.

How to use it

Use Phoenix Steel for full-length curtains where its cool grey tone can soften bright rooms without adding warmth or visual clutter. Pair it with white, charcoal and brushed metal finishes to echo the weave’s crisp tonal contrast.

A cool, finely textured grey for softly gathered curtains and understated window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
