About this fabric

This Inkstone colourway reads as a balanced taupe-grey, warmed by oatmeal and cream threads and punctuated with small ink-dark flecks. Its small-scale woven pattern has an irregular checked effect, while the nubby yarns create a distinctly tactile finish. The folded swatch shows a substantial cloth with enough body to hold soft ridges and tailored lines. Overall, the muted contrast feels quietly smart rather than stark, making the texture the main visual feature.

How to use it

Use Rimini Inkstone on a structured sofa, dining chair or footstool where its warm greige tone can sit comfortably with timber, stone and charcoal accents. Layer it with plain oatmeal or deeper brown textiles to draw out the weave’s tonal depth.

A substantial nubby weave in warm greige and charcoal, suited to tailored upholstery with understated tonal depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
