About this fabric

The visible weave is airy and irregular, with fine intersecting threads creating a lightly textured surface rather than a printed motif. Its muted taupe-grey colouring shifts from soft mushroom in the light to deeper brown-grey in the folds, giving the fabric gentle visual depth. The relaxed drape shown here makes this colourway particularly suited to curtains and other flowing window treatments. No composition, width, rub test or performance features are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Santorini Flax at full length in a calm, layered scheme of chalk, stone and warm timber, where its taupe-grey tone can soften brighter neutrals. Its open weave would also suit relaxed unlined or lightly lined curtains, allowing the subtle tonal variation to remain visible.

The softly fluid handle and open weave make this muted taupe-grey textile well suited to relaxed curtains and light-filtering window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
