About this fabric

The Polar colourway is a clean, cool white rather than a warm ivory, giving the fabric a crisp and quietly luxurious appearance. Its smooth face catches the light along each ridge, while the deeper folds turn gently towards soft grey. The close-up shows a plain surface with no visible motif, relying on its satin-like lustre and flowing movement for visual interest. Its fluid handle makes it especially well suited to drapery where these gathered folds can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use Serena Polar for full-length curtains in a light, refined scheme, where its cool white tone can brighten the room without introducing a strong colour. Pair it with pale grey, silver or chalk-toned furnishings to echo the shadows and highlights visible across its surface.

A cool pearl-white cloth with a smooth, reflective surface and fluid folds, suited to elegant curtains and soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
