Solna Fabric

Solna Fossil has a warm, grey-brown taupe tone that reads softly against the light, with a close-up surface that appears gently brushed. Draped folds reveal a subtle change in shade as the nap catches the light.

About this fabric

This plain Warwick fabric is shown in a muted fossil taupe, balanced between soft grey and understated brown rather than a cool silver-grey. Its fine, velvety-looking surface gives the colour a gentle haze and prevents the plain ground from appearing flat. Across the gathered folds, the material shows a softly plush handle and enough body to hold rounded, relaxed contours. The low-contrast finish makes this a quietly refined upholstery choice for seating in warm neutral schemes.

How to use it

Use Solna Fossil on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair alongside warm ivory, mushroom and dark timber; its grey-brown taupe tone will soften stronger contrasts without losing depth.

Use this warm grey-brown taupe on upholstered seating where its softly napped surface can add quiet depth to a neutral room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
