About this fabric
The cool quartz-grey tone sits between silver and soft greige, with darker shading appearing where the cloth falls into deeper folds. A closely spaced crosshatch weave is clearly visible across the surface, giving the plain design gentle linear definition rather than a flat finish. Light skims the raised folds with a restrained sheen, while the recessed areas read noticeably deeper and smokier. Its fluid drape makes this fine textile particularly well suited to curtains and other softly gathered window treatments.
How to use it
Pair this cool, softened grey with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal for a calm contemporary scheme. It also works as a quiet counterpoint to deeper charcoal or muted blue upholstery.
Use this softly mineral grey for understated curtains where its fine weave and gentle sheen can catch the light.
Pairs well with
Valencia Quartz is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
