About this fabric

This colourway features a traditional floral damask arrangement, with curling stems and stylised blossoms distributed across the surface. Its oyster-beige tone is warm and muted rather than yellow or strongly taupe, while the cream pattern creates a restrained tonal contrast. The woven surface has a subtly raised, tactile appearance, and the folds catch the light without creating a glossy finish. The balanced weight and patterned coverage make it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Woodcliff Oyster on a classic armchair, headboard or full-length curtain where its warm neutral tone can soften darker timber and accentuate cream furnishings. Keep surrounding colours quiet to let the scrolling pattern provide the room’s detail.

Use the warm oyster ground and cream scrolling florals to bring softly traditional pattern to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
