Hillbank Fabric21

Hillbank 21 Celadon is a cool, muted green textile with a softly layered surface that shifts between celadon and pale grey-green in the light. Its restrained colour lets the fine woven texture provide the visual interest.

About this fabric

The surface shows a close, irregular crosshatch rather than a printed motif, giving this colourway a subtly tactile, textile-led appearance. Its celadon tone is softened with a cool grey cast, so it reads calm and lightly weathered rather than bright or saturated. Fine pale and deeper green threads create gentle depth across the otherwise plain ground. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use 21 Celadon where a room needs a quiet wash of cool green, such as relaxed seating, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains. It works especially well alongside chalky whites, pale woods and soft greyed neutrals.

Use this cool, muted celadon weave to bring gentle colour and quiet texture to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
