About this fabric

The fabric is formed from tiny, closely repeated chevron marks that create a subtle herringbone effect across the surface. Near-black and pale grey threads sit together to produce Cinder’s deep charcoal tone, with lighter flecks catching across the weave rather than forming a bold contrast. The compact pattern reads as tailored and understated, while the visible texture prevents the dark colour from appearing flat. No composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use the charcoal-and-pale-grey tone on a tailored chair, sofa or headboard, pairing it with warm timber, soft stone and restrained monochrome accents. The fine herringbone texture works particularly well where a dark upholstery colour needs subtle visual movement.

The tightly patterned charcoal weave brings quiet contrast and tailored texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
