Brielle Fabric01

Brielle 01 Chinchilla is a cool, mottled grey woven fabric with a closely repeated chevron pattern. Its charcoal flecks and lighter threads create a softly variegated surface rather than a flat block colour.

About this fabric

The close-up shows fine dark and pale threads working together in a compact zigzag motif, giving the fabric a textured, almost peppered appearance. Chinchilla reads as a cool charcoal grey, with the small changes in tone adding depth across the chevrons. The dense-looking weave makes it well suited to upholstery applications, although no composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied. Its restrained pattern has a smart, tailored character without appearing stark.

How to use it

Use this cool charcoal-grey colourway on a contemporary armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its small chevron scale can add movement without dominating. Pair it with pale stone walls, black accents and warm timber to balance the cooler grey tones.

The cool charcoal-grey ground and compact chevron texture bring tailored contrast to contemporary seating and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
