About this fabric

The swatch shows a dense geometric repeat made from short, irregular black bars and hooked forms against a pale grey ground. Small variations in the grey threads soften the contrast slightly, while the charcoal-black pattern remains strongly defined. The surface has a pronounced woven texture, with fine horizontal and vertical irregularities visible across the cloth. This compact, high-contrast design reads as smart and architectural rather than decorative or softly tonal.

How to use it

Use Storm on a structured armchair, dining seat or headboard where its charcoal-and-pale-grey contrast can act as a graphic focal point. Pair it with cool grey upholstery plains, blackened timber and brushed metal for a crisp, contemporary scheme.

Use this cool, high-contrast weave to give upholstered seating a graphic, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
