About this fabric

This 380 gsm Wool Satin has a substantial, closely woven appearance suited to upholstered furniture. Its Empire Grey tone sits between silver and stone, reading cool and muted rather than blue or warm, while the satin finish adds a restrained sheen across the surface. The usable width is 140 cm, with a standard length of 60 m. With a 0 cm vertical and 0 cm horizontal pattern repeat, the plain construction can be positioned without motif matching.

How to use it

Use Empire Grey on a clean-lined sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool stone tone can balance warmer timber and natural finishes. Pair it with chalky whites, pale oak or deeper charcoal for a composed, tailored room.
