About this fabric

The graphite ground is layered with pale grey and near-black linear strokes, creating a basket-like geometry with visible variation in direction and tone. Its dark accents give the pattern definition, while the lighter bands keep the overall impression crisp rather than heavy. The close-set lines produce a medium-scale design that reads clearly across the chair cushion and framed panel shown. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Pair Pentimento Graphite with charcoal timber, blackened metal and soft grey upholstery for a composed monochrome scheme. Its cool graphite tone also works as a sharp contrast against warm plaster walls and dark wood, as shown here.

Use this cool graphite colourway to give tailored seating a monochrome, architectural edge.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
