About this fabric

The colourway reads as deep charcoal at first glance, while the pale diagonal yarns bring a finely broken, silvery contrast across the face. The small-scale twill is even and directional, creating subtle movement without a separate printed motif. Its compact woven appearance gives it a smart, tailored character suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool charcoal-and-ivory mix to sharpen a restrained, contemporary scheme, particularly on a tailored chair, bench or Roman blind. Pair it with chalky whites, pale greys and blackened timber to echo the swatch’s high-contrast woven rhythm.

The closely woven charcoal-and-ivory twill brings a crisp, tailored texture to upholstery, cushions, blinds or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
