About this fabric

The olive base reads as subdued and earthy rather than bright, allowing the intricate pattern to remain detailed without becoming overly vivid. Floral sprays, curling paisley shapes, leaves and small scattered blossoms fill the surface, with dusty pink, cream, sage, terracotta and charcoal-grey accents. A lightly textured textile grain is visible across the swatch, adding gentle depth beneath the finely drawn motifs. The contrast is softened throughout, giving Kandesh Olive a composed, smart character suited to either upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use Kandesh Olive where a room needs an enveloping olive note with decorative depth, such as an occasional chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains. Pick out its dusty pink and cream details in plain cushions or nearby painted surfaces for a softly coordinated scheme.

Use the muted olive ground with warm wood, while its dusty pink and cream accents complement quieter upholstery or curtain tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
