Misc Fabric

Avebury Smoke pairs a muted smoky taupe-grey ground with a lively scattering of cream woodland animals, botanical sprigs and small stars. Its lightly horizontal surface texture gives the colourway a softly weathered, tactile character.

About this fabric

The cool, quiet grey background creates a dusky setting for cream horses, deer, birds and other animal figures, while the fine botanical marks and stars add movement across the surface. The motifs vary in size but remain small enough to read as an all-over pattern rather than a single focal image. A subtle horizontal slub-like texture is visible through the ground, softening the contrast and giving the fabric a relaxed, gently rustic mood. No performance features, composition, width or rub-test specification have been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Avebury Smoke on relaxed upholstery or full-length curtains where its smoky taupe-grey ground can temper warm timber, natural fibres and cream furnishings. The scattered woodland pattern also suits a quiet bedroom, reading corner or informal country-inspired scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
