About this fabric

The design is arranged in vertical stripes, alternating darker denim-blue columns with narrower sand-beige bands and irregular blue-on-blue patterning. Small diamond and angular motifs appear within several stripes, giving the surface a graphic, hand-woven feel without becoming overly bold. The blue reads cool and smoky rather than bright, while the beige threads add warmth and depth. A visibly close, nubby weave keeps the overall impression relaxed and substantial.

How to use it

Use Isthmus Denim on a relaxed armchair, dining seat or curtain, balancing its cool blue with pale oak, oatmeal linen and aged brass. The sandy stripes make it especially easy to connect with warm neutral furnishings.

Pair the cool denim-blue ground with natural wood, linen and warm sand tones to echo the woven contrast.
