Columbus Cloud Satin Fabric

Misc Fabric

Columbus Cloud Satin appears as a soft taupe-grey textile with a quiet, satin-like reflection across its plain surface. Its close, fine weave gives the swatch a subtle linear texture rather than a visible motif.

About this fabric

The Cloud colourway sits between warm grey and muted taupe, with enough depth to avoid looking flat while remaining softly neutral. Fine horizontal and vertical threads are visible across the face, and the light catches selected fibres with a restrained satin glint. No composition, width, rub-test or performance features are supplied for this exact fabric, so suitability should be confirmed against the intended application. The even surface and fine appearance read most naturally as a drapery cloth.

How to use it

Use this cool-to-neutral taupe-grey for full-length curtains where its faint sheen can shift gently with daylight. Pair it with chalky whites, mushroom tones and pale timber for a composed, quietly tailored room.

Use this softly reflective taupe-grey cloth for understated curtains or relaxed window treatments in a calm neutral scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
