About this fabric

The fabric is woven in a muted slate blue, with subtle tonal variation visible across the ground rather than a flat, uniform finish. Cream line-drawn motifs depict expressive animals, small figures, flowering plants and stylised trees in an irregular conversational repeat. Larger botanical and animal groupings are balanced by tiny scattered vignettes, giving the pattern a medium-scale rhythm across the cloth. Its restrained blue-and-cream contrast feels calm and slightly folkloric, while the visible weave keeps the overall impression relaxed rather than formal.
