About this fabric

The Stone colourway has a restrained taupe-grey tone, softened by fine woven variation rather than a printed pattern. Its close chenille texture gives the plain surface a subtle, tactile depth, while the faint directional lines keep the finish from looking completely flat. The visible weave reads as a substantial upholstery cloth rather than a fine, fluid drapery fabric. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this soft stone taupe on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its quiet woven texture can balance darker timber, warm metal and layered neutrals. Pair it with chalky whites for a lighter scheme or charcoal accents for more contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
