About this fabric

The sea tone sits between blue and green, with a slightly softened grey cast that keeps it calm rather than bright. Across the swatch, the chenille pile catches the light unevenly, creating delicate bands of darker and lighter teal. Its surface is visually plain but not flat, with a fine woven irregularity that adds quiet texture. This mid-weight-looking textile is well suited to upholstery or drapery where a composed, textural colour is preferred.

How to use it

Use this cool sea colour on a reading chair, sofa or relaxed curtain scheme, pairing it with pale stone, warm timber and brushed metal. Its restrained blue-green depth also works well as a quiet counterpoint to cream or charcoal.

A quiet sea-toned chenille with subtle slub adds depth without introducing a visible pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
