Misc Fabric

Island Trim Fringe Palm is a decorative fringe trim in pale ivory, with muted olive and smoky grey shading gathering through its loose lower strands. The uneven, feathery edge gives the colourway a softly weathered character.

About this fabric

The trim is built around a narrow, pale ivory band with a closely packed fringe hanging below it. Long, loose strands shift from warm cream to smoky grey and muted olive green, creating a shaded lower edge rather than a flat single colour. Its irregular, feathery texture and softly uneven hem make the trim especially tactile against the clean horizontal header. No performance features are noted for this textile, so its appeal here comes from the visible tonal variation and decorative texture.

How to use it

Use the ivory-and-olive fringe along the front edge of a seat, cushion or upholstered stool, where its muted green shading can complement natural wood and warm neutral fabrics. It also suits a relaxed, collected scheme that benefits from a softly irregular finishing detail.

Use this pale ivory and olive fringe to add a softly weathered decorative edge to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
