Island Trim Fringe Crab

Misc Fabric

Island Trim Fringe Crab is a decorative fringe trim with a pale ivory ground and a distinctly warmer rust-brown edge. Its long, irregular fibres create a softly weathered finish rather than a crisp, uniform line.

About this fabric

The upper band reads as creamy ivory, while the lower fringe deepens into russet and brown at the tips, giving this colourway visible tonal depth. Fine, loosely waved strands hang in varied lengths, creating a shaggy, tactile surface that catches the light unevenly. The narrow woven header has a gently scalloped top edge, adding definition above the fringe. No performance specification or composition data has been supplied for this textile.

How to use it

Pair the ivory-and-rust tones with warm neutral upholstery, aged timber and terracotta accents. Apply it along the front edge of a chair, the hem of a cushion or the border of a footstool where its uneven fringe can be seen and touched.

Use this tactile ivory-and-rust fringe trim to edge upholstered seating, cushions or occasional furniture with a warm, decorative finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
