Flint Mushroom

Misc Fabric

Flint Mushroom has a softly balanced taupe-grey appearance, with mushroom warmth tempered by a cooler flint cast. A close-set woven grid gives the surface its distinctive, gently irregular texture.

About this fabric

The colour shifts subtly between warm mushroom beige and cool flint grey across the woven surface. Small rectangular blocks and broken vertical and horizontal bands create a compact geometric pattern rather than a flat plain. The weave has a softly nubby, mottled finish, allowing the pale and deeper threads to sit together without a sharp contrast. Its substantial-looking textile character makes this colourway particularly suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Use Flint Mushroom on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its taupe-grey depth can soften darker timber and complement stone, cream and muted olive accents.

The muted mushroom-taupe ground and compact woven grid bring softly tailored texture to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Flint Mushroom without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
