Lana Mushroom

Lana FabricLF1921

Lana Mushroom is a quiet, cool-toned neutral with a softly weathered appearance. Its close plain weave shows fine tonal variation across the muted taupe-grey surface, adding depth without a printed motif.

About this fabric

Woven from 70% wool with 20% polyester, 5% acrylic and 5% nylon, Lana Mushroom has a finely textured, subtly flecked surface. The colour reads as mushroom taupe with a gentle grey cast and a restrained earthy warmth, rather than a strong brown. At approximately 145cm wide, it is listed for curtains and fixed upholstery and is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. After-care is dry clean only.

How to use it

Use Lana Mushroom for a composed sofa, headboard or dining seat, or let it fall as curtains against pale walls. Its muted taupe-grey tone works particularly well with chalky neutrals, aged wood and soft olive accents.

Use this softly mottled mushroom taupe on tailored upholstery or full-length curtains, where its cool depth can balance warmer timber and natural finishes.

Pairs well with

Lana Mushroom is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
