Pampas Teal Fabric

Misc Fabric

Pampas Teal combines a cool teal ground with alternating horizontal bands in turquoise, rust, plum and pink. The woven surface gives the colourway a tactile, softly irregular finish while keeping the patterned stripes clearly defined.

About this fabric

Broad teal and cream bands carry repeating diamond and zigzag motifs, creating a strong geometric rhythm across the swatch. Between them sit narrower horizontal stripes in turquoise, rust, plum and pink, with the warmer shades adding contrast to the blue-green base. The tightly textured weave softens the edges of each colour, so the design reads as richly layered rather than sharply graphic. Pampas Teal is catalogued as a fabric from Andrew Martin’s Misc collection; no composition, width or performance specification has been supplied.

How to use it

Use the cool teal ground as the main upholstery colour, then draw out its rust, plum and pink bands with warm timber, terracotta or berry-toned accents. The repeating geometric stripes would make a distinctive statement on a bench, occasional chair or headboard.

Use this tactile teal weave to bring rhythmic colour and warmth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
