Urchin Ecru Fabric

Misc Fabric

Urchin Ecru is a softly textured pale fabric with an open ecru centre and irregular white linear bands running vertically near each side of the photographed width. Its low-contrast colouring gives the pattern an airy, almost drawn quality.

About this fabric

The fabric has a very light, warm-leaning ecru ground with a fine woven surface and subtle vertical grain. Along the outer sections, clusters of short white marks create feathery, urchin-like bands, while the central field remains comparatively calm and open. The restrained contrast keeps the motif delicate rather than graphic, with the surface catching light softly rather than appearing glossy. No composition, width, rub test or performance feature has been supplied for this fabric, so those details should be confirmed before ordering.

How to use it

Use this pale ecru colourway where a room needs texture without a strong colour statement: it would suit relaxed curtains, blinds or lightly patterned upholstery against warm whites, natural wood and soft neutral furnishings. The vertical banding can also add gentle rhythm to tall window treatments or a statement chair.

A pale, quietly textured design that brings gentle vertical rhythm to upholstered pieces, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
