Misc Fabric

Vine Barley has a softly muted barley-yellow ground, overlaid with a fine all-over trail of pale cream floral vines. The close pattern and lightly textured surface give the colourway a gentle, quietly vintage character.

About this fabric

This cotton print is shown in a warm barley-yellow shade, softened rather than saturated, with the even colour allowing the cream floral tracery to remain delicate. Small leafy sprigs and curling stems are scattered closely across the surface, creating a continuous garden-like pattern without a dominant central motif. A fine vertical texture is visible beneath the print, adding subtle depth as the light moves across the cloth. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its fine, visually light character makes it particularly suited to decorative drapery.

How to use it

Use the mellow barley tone for relaxed curtains in a room with ivory, oak or aged brass accents. Its cream vines can also soften a window seat or layered scheme where a small-scale floral is wanted without a strong contrast.

A softly weathered barley-yellow floral print that brings gentle warmth to relaxed curtains and light-filled rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
