About this fabric

The pattern combines large cream floral forms with curling paisleys, small clover-like motifs and scrolling borders in ember red, teal, mustard and muted pink. Its dark navy base gives the brighter accents a dramatic, almost tapestry-like contrast, while the folded swatch shows a supple cloth with a softly textured surface. The large-scale arrangement makes the design feel opulent rather than understated. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the ember-red and mustard details with warm timber, aged brass and deep navy upholstery for an enveloping room scheme. Used at a window, the dense pattern would make a deliberately theatrical drapery statement; on a chair or cushion, it supplies concentrated colour and ornament.

Use the deep navy and ember-red palette to bring theatrical colour to an upholstered chair, curtain or statement cushion.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
