Thurlow Orchid is a softly luminous floral weave in a pale orchid pink, with a gentle sheen that lets the leaf-like motif sit quietly across the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and supplied at 140cm wide, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for drapes only, making it a practical choice for curtains and soft window treatments. The small-scale floral and botanical pattern has a 12cm vertical repeat and 12cm horizontal repeat, which helps the design read as an even, understated scatter from a distance. In this colourway, the pink is cool and misty rather than bright, with a pearly cast that catches the light without becoming glossy. The overall effect is refined and calm, with the raised weave adding just enough texture to keep the surface from looking flat.

How to use it

Use Thurlow Orchid for full-length curtains, Roman blinds or layered sheers in bedrooms and dressing rooms where a gentle blush is wanted. It pairs especially well with chalk white, pale taupe and brushed metals for a soft, elegant finish.

A softly shimmering orchid tone that brings a polished, understated lift to curtains and blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Thurlow Orchid without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
