Black Edition

Castelli Wallcovering Cayenne

Castelli Wallcovering Cayenne pairs a cool grey ground with vivid cayenne-orange ornamental forms. The large, scrolling motifs are shown in generous cropped repeats, giving the wallcovering an expressive, graphic presence.

About this wallpaper

The design features ornate damask-like medallions, curling leaves and pointed inner details picked out in saturated cayenne orange against grey. A fine, even horizontal grain is visible across the ground, adding subtle surface interest beneath the bold pattern. The warm orange contrasts strongly with the cooler grey, while the open areas within each motif keep the overall impression crisp rather than muddy. Catalogued as a wallcovering in the Astratto Wallcoverings Black Edition collection, no performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use the cayenne-orange detailing as the room’s accent, pairing it with charcoal, warm timber and restrained grey upholstery. Its cool grey background can also settle more saturated orange accessories into a cohesive feature wall scheme.

Use this warm cayenne-and-grey damask to create a dramatic, graphic feature wall.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Castelli Wallcovering Cayenne without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
