Garden Treasures Squash

Curious Creatures by Becca Who FabricGRDNTRSQSH

Garden Treasures Squash makes an immediate impression with its saturated burnt-orange ground and densely arranged menagerie of flowers, foliage, birds and dragonflies. Jewel-like navy, teal, purple, yellow and ivory details give the surface a vivid, layered character.

About this fabric

The pattern is richly symmetrical, with large dragonflies, white roses, stylised birds and a central sunflower-like bloom framed by curling stems and scattered blossoms. Against the warm orange background, the navy and deep teal foliage adds definition while ivory flowers and yellow accents bring sharp flashes of light. The supplied record lists no performance features for this fabric. Its intricate, high-contrast design reads as a decorative statement rather than a quiet, understated ground.

How to use it

Use the warm squash-orange ground to bring energy to full-length curtains, a Roman blind or a carefully chosen accent panel. Balance its dark botanical outlines and jewel-toned details with plain upholstery in ink, cream, charcoal or deep teal.

Use this richly patterned burnt-orange colourway as a dramatic curtain or statement textile against quiet, dark-toned furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Garden Treasures Squash without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
