Garden Treasures Topaz

Curious Creatures by Becca Who FabricGRDNTRTOPAZ

Garden Treasures Topaz is a richly coloured botanical menagerie set against a deep peacock-blue ground. Its mirrored arrangement brings together birds, dragonflies, roses, water-lily-like blooms and curling foliage in a vivid, theatrical repeat.

About this fabric

The deep peacock-blue background gives the design a cool, saturated foundation, setting off coral-red flowers, scarlet berries, fresh green leaves and creamy white blooms. The large repeat is strongly symmetrical, with paired birds and dragonflies creating a clear central rhythm among the dense botanical detail. Warm orange and topaz-yellow touches around the central flower add a concentrated glow to the otherwise cool colourway. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Topaz as a statement on a feature chair, headboard or generous curtains, then draw out its deep blue ground with plain upholstery and echo its coral, cream or leafy green accents in smaller accessories.

Use the deep peacock-blue ground to anchor statement upholstery or full, decorative curtains, balancing it with quiet solid tones.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Garden Treasures Topaz without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
