About this fabric

The soft duck egg tone sits between blue and green, reading muted rather than bright, with the even weave catching the light in gently changing horizontal and vertical lines. At 280gsm and 144cm usable width, this Clarke & Clarke fabric has a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. Its vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0cm, confirming the plain, non-directional surface visible in the swatch. The restrained texture adds interest without introducing a printed motif.

How to use it

Use Boston Duckegg to upholster a relaxed armchair or sofa where its cool blue-green tone can soften warm timber, or make calm, lightly textured curtains from the same cloth. Pair it with chalky whites, pale woods and muted sea-glass shades to reinforce its airy character.

A softly textured, versatile blue-green plain weave for calm upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
