About this fabric

At 418gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with enough visual depth to support the large-scale cityscape design. The colourway balances cool, washed teal and blue-green shadows against ochre, terracotta and caramel façades, while ivory ground areas keep the composition light. Repeated palms, pointed arches, domed roofs and decorative doors give the surface a varied rhythm rather than a simple geometric repeat. Its 63cm vertical repeat and 68cm horizontal repeat should be considered carefully when positioning the architectural motifs on a chair, headboard or sofa.

How to use it

Use Marrakech Teal/Spice on a feature armchair or bench, pairing the cool teal passages with warm spice upholstery accents and pale limewashed walls. The ivory areas allow the design to sit comfortably with natural wood, woven textures and restrained brass details.

Use this substantial architectural colourway on statement seating, balanced with warm ivory and natural timber.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
