About this fabric

The floral design combines large scalloped blooms with smaller flowers and winding botanical stems, all picked out in varied raspberry tones. The pale ground keeps the pattern light, while the pink drawing brings depth and a distinctly rosy warmth. At 226gsm with a 137cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats vertically every 30.5cm and horizontally every 25.2cm, allowing the floral trails to flow across a project.

How to use it

Use Downham Raspberry to bring soft berry colour to a bedroom curtain, occasional chair or cushion arrangement, pairing it with pale blush, warm ivory and understated natural textures. The fine floral detail also works well as a gentle focal pattern against quieter plain upholstery.

A softly textured mid-weight floral for upholstered seating, curtains and coordinating cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Downham Raspberry without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
