Downham Citrus

Ribble Valley FabricCCF0039-01

Downham Citrus brings a pale, sunlit citrus tone to the Ribble Valley botanical: golden floral heads and curling foliage sit over an ivory ground. The close view also shows fine horizontal texture, which softens the contrast across the repeat.

About this fabric

Downham Citrus combines an ivory-washed, soft citrus-yellow ground with layered golden-yellow floral outlines, curling stems and small leaves. Fine horizontal slubbing runs through the ground, giving the pale field a lightly striated texture while the floral drawing remains crisp. At 137 cm usable width and 226 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery or drapery. The design has a 30.5 cm vertical repeat and 25.2 cm horizontal repeat, useful when planning the scattered botanical layout.

How to use it

Use Downham Citrus to brighten a window treatment or bring a warm botanical lift to a light-upholstered chair. Its pale citrus and ivory tones sit naturally with warm timber, cream and soft natural textures.

Pair the pale citrus ground with ivory, natural linen and warm timber for a light botanical scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
