About this fabric

The plain weave has no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, allowing its understated colour and fine woven texture to remain continuous across a cut. Subtle irregular threads add delicate depth to the otherwise smooth-looking surface, without introducing a visible motif. At 285 gsm and 138 cm usable width, it offers a versatile mid-weight for both upholstery and drapery. The standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Abbey Smoke to soften larger upholstered pieces or full-length curtains where its muted grey-beige tone can bring calm without reading stark. It works particularly well alongside warm timber, chalky walls and deeper charcoal accents.

A softly textured smoky greige weave with the versatility for upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
