About this fabric

Hydra Menthe is a 100% polyester fabric with an approximate width of 135cm and a repeat of V 88cm / H 135cm, giving the bird motif a generous, scenic spread. The print shows birds in motion, painted in layered mint, seafoam and teal strokes with paler feather detail that lifts the design against the smooth beige-taupe background. The overall effect is fresh and breezy rather than saturated, with the cooler greens and blue-tinged accents keeping the colourway airy and coastal. With care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical decorative fabric for schemes that want pattern without heaviness.

How to use it

Use Hydra Menthe on relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or statement cushions where the soft mint tones can sit against oak, linen and stone. It also works well in a bright conservatory or coastal-inspired room, where the warm ground tempers the cooler bird motifs.

Pair with pale woods and crisp white for a fresh, airy scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hydra Menthe without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
