About this fabric

Hydra Turquoise from the Bali collection by Manuel Canovas is woven in 100% polyester and has an approximate width of 135cm, with a vertical repeat of 88cm and horizontal repeat of 135cm. The birds are rendered in layered turquoise, teal and powder-blue strokes, with the palest feathers fading almost to a watery aqua against the soft neutral ground. The finish looks smooth rather than nubby, so the colour reads cleanly and the motif keeps a crisp edge. With care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K noted, it is a practical decorative fabric for interiors that want pattern without heaviness.

How to use it

Use this turquoise colourway where you want a cool, coastal lift rather than a dense statement. It works especially well as drapery in bright rooms, or in a softly layered scheme with white, sand and pale blue upholstery.

Pair with crisp linens and pale wood to let the airy bird motif and cool turquoise tones stay fresh.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
