Manuel Canovas

Bali Marine

Bali FabricM4065-02

Bali Marine sets a deep navy field with a scattering of colourful shell motifs, giving the fabric a lively coastal feel. The dark ground makes the greens, blues and touches of yellow and ivory read crisply and distinctly.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is 100% polyester and comes at approximately 135cm wide, with a vertical repeat of 78cm and horizontal repeat of 135cm. The design shows shell forms in varied sizes across a dark marine background, with each motif picking up turquoise, sea green, soft yellow and pale ivory accents. The overall effect is bright and decorative but anchored by the almost ink-blue ground, which keeps the pattern feeling tailored rather than sugary. With no performance features noted and a C 8 + T 3 care code, it is best suited to decorative use where its crisp printed detail can be shown off.

How to use it

Use Bali Marine for lined curtains, Roman blinds or a single accent chair to bring colour to a room without lightening it too much. It pairs especially well with pale woods, chalky whites and brass details that echo the shell pattern’s seaside palette.

A playful nautical print that works beautifully for statement curtains or light decorative upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
