Manuel Canovas

Alina Aigue-Marine

Alina FabricM4173-09

Alina Aigue-Marine reads as a pale, watery stripe with a cool aqua note running through a creamy ground. The narrow vertical repeat gives it a neat, tailored look rather than a bold statement.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is woven in 63% viscose and 37% cotton, with a width of approximately 138cm and a very close vertical repeat of 0cm by 1cm approx. In the swatch, slim aqua-blue stripes sit between lighter cream and ivory lines, creating a fresh, lightly textural surface with a soft lustre. The colourway feels cool and airy, with enough contrast to be noticed but not enough to overpower a scheme. Its fine stripe and balanced composition make it a versatile decorative cloth for upholstery or drapery where a crisp, ordered finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this colourway to brighten relaxed coastal or contemporary rooms, especially on Roman blinds, cushions, or a small upholstered chair. The aqua-on-cream stripe works well with pale woods, chalky whites, and brushed brass.

A fresh aqua stripe that feels crisp and tailored on curtains or compact upholstery pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
