About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is composed of 63% viscose and 37% cotton, with a width of approximately 138cm and a vertical repeat of 0cm / horizontal repeat of about 1cm. The stripe reads as a narrow, closely spaced pinstripe, combining deep brick red with lighter neutral lines for a crisp, evenly balanced effect. The surface has a soft woven look rather than a glossy finish, so the colour feels grounded and slightly matte. Its scale and handle make it a versatile decorative fabric that can bring structure and warmth without overpowering a room.

How to use it

This brick-toned stripe works beautifully on an accent chair, banquette or cushions where its neat vertical rhythm can add height. Pair it with oak, walnut, parchment or stone shades to let the warm red stay elegant rather than overly bold.

Use with warm neutrals and dark timber to keep the stripe looking crisp and tailored.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
