About this fabric

This 100% polyester fabric is 134cm wide and has an approximate vertical repeat of 73cm and horizontal repeat of 67cm, giving the large leaf motif plenty of room to breathe. In Malfa Ciel, the foliage reads in cool teal, aqua and inky navy outlines over a pale ground, so the design feels bright rather than heavy. The visible surface looks smooth and tightly woven, which suits the clear printed detail and the lively movement of the pattern. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for decorative schemes where colour and pattern take the lead.

How to use it

Hang Malfa Ciel in a light-filled room to bring a clean, coastal note to windows, especially where the blue-green leaves can echo glass, painted wood or pale oak. It pairs well with white walls, brushed brass and simple linens so the pattern remains the focal point.

Use it for statement curtains or relaxed blinds where the cool teal tones can read fresh and coastal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
