Biot Chartreuse

Biot FabricM4027-17

Biot in Chartreuse has a finely textured, small-scale woven look with a lively yellow-green cast. The surface reads crisp and lightly speckled rather than flat, giving the colourway a fresh, sunlit feel.

About this fabric

Biot in Chartreuse is supplied as a fabric with an approximate width of 138cm and a composition of 40% viscose, 30% linen, 26% cotton and 4% polyester. The weave visible here is compact and nubbly, with tiny flecks of pale cream and olive that soften the overall chartreuse tone. This colourway sits between green and yellow, so it feels brighter than sage but less sharp than acid lime. With no repeat noted, the design reads as a quietly textural plain that will suit schemes needing colour without a strong pattern effect.

How to use it

Use this chartreuse weave on accent chairs, loose covers or Roman blinds where its fresh green-yellow tone can lift neutral rooms. It pairs especially well with warm oak, plaster pinks and chalky off-whites.

Use it for tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains when you want a fresh, softly woven green.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
