Biot Grege

Biot FabricM4027-01

Biot in Grege reads as a soft, tonal cream with a warm greige cast and a subtly pebbled woven surface. The close weave gives it a calm, tailored look with just enough texture to hold interest.

About this fabric

Biot in Grege is a woven fabric with no repeat, so the emphasis stays on the texture and the quiet tonal mix rather than a printed motif. Its 40% viscose, 30% linen, 26% cotton and 4% polyester composition gives the cloth a natural, lightly nubby character with a gentle, matte finish. At approximately 138cm wide, it is a practical upholstery or drapery option where a restrained surface is wanted. The colour sits between cream and greige, with a warm, softened depth that avoids looking stark white.

How to use it

Use this pale greige cream to soften contemporary seating, relaxed curtains or layered cushions, especially alongside oak, plaster and other muted neutrals. Its low-key warmth suits rooms that need light without the coldness of a bright white textile.

An understated neutral that layers easily with timber, stone and warmer accent colours.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
