Astana Rose Indien

Giverny FabricM4211-02

Astana Rose Indien brings together a rhythmic ikat-style motif in rose pink, terracotta and saffron on a soft ivory ground. The linen weave gives the design a natural, lightly textured look with a lively hand-drawn feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and offered at approximately 138cm wide, this fabric has the breathable, slightly slubby surface expected of a natural cloth. The large repeat, measuring approximately V 85cm / H 69cm, gives the pattern room to show its bold oval motifs and linking zigzag band clearly across a scheme. In this colourway, the rose pink reads vivid but not sugary, balanced by burnt orange and golden ochre accents that warm the ivory ground. The result is decorative and energetic without feeling glossy or overworked, with the linen texture keeping the pattern relaxed.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring warmth to a neutral sitting room, where the rose and saffron shades can lift stone, linen and timber finishes. It also works well as a statement drapery or occasional upholstery when you want pattern to feel lively rather than formal.

Let the lively rose and saffron tones add warmth to a tailored interior.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Astana Rose Indien without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
